Today’s Theme: When It Depends On You
Today’s Dare: Dare to be the First One to Change
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:21
This dare has the potential to be one of the most life changing dares! Often we sit in our feelings and attitudes and wait for the right feeling to prompt us to make a move, the change, to heal a hurt, etc…
The longer we wait, the harder we get. The longer we wait, the harder it becomes.
We are not responsible for other people, We are only responsible for ourselves.
And, as a responsible adult…I did say adult, because I have been spending the past 30 days putting my big girl panties on, getting them straightened out when they have been in a bunch, and focusing on doing the next Upward Focused thing. So…as an adult, I have a need to pay attention to why I do…not what you or anyone else does.
We are only RESPONSIBLE for us!
Can’t believe this 30 day dare is over. I have to admit, I am going to do it again. I know, I know…crazy talk to hear from the author. But, friends, I have a need to stay upward focused in a world that encourages me to spiral down in my self…I need to Look Up and Live Up. This 30 day challenge has helped me to stay focused during a very crazy time.
So, for now…..praying for us all, that we will Live Up in the Power of God’s Spirit.
Do tell a friend about The Faith Dare, and let’s pray that women all over our country catch on to the life of Looking Up to God and Living Up in Faith!
with love,
Debbie

I plan to repeat the 30 day Faith Dare too. It has been a great source of encouragement for me and each morning I looked forward to the dare for that particular day. I need more of looking up and living up. I’m thrilled for the changes that have happened within me in the past 30 days. Thank you!!

Hi I am on page 144 and you refer to a necklace with 2 sides. Have you looked into those?
where can we purchase these, or have them made?
the quote for the day:Choose joy because God is working, and never look back because you cannot run the race while looking behind you.

Trying to source them, haven’t been able to yet.

I will definetly pray for other women to have the joy of living a faith dared life of looking up at God instead of stuck in ourselves. Thank you Debbie-the Faith Dare gave me so much joy. Looking up at Jesus is so much more than I had hoped for.
I am really changed from following the Scriptural principles in this book!!

I have had a difficult relationship with my oldest son. Things have been quite a struggle for quite some time. Well, I finally stopped trying to change him and focused the areas where God was showing me I needed to change. I had been applying many of these dares before going through this 30 day dare. During this dare, I have recognized who my changing me has given him the freedom to change in his own time without my saying a word! Our relationship is hands down better and we both are both in a much better place of peace. We are different and have more time to laugh and enjoy each other. I get far more hugs than I used to, and far more interaction with him in difficult circumstances. I have a relationship with him that I wasn’t sure was possible. We still disagree, but we always will. I have let go of the control and have peace. I am seeing myself being more of the mother I wanted to be. I changed first. Who knew? God knew. I didn’t get it. But now I do. The test will be to stay in this place of connection. Every day.

I just started this Faith Dare 6 days ago and so far so good……but I need a lifetime not 30 days.
So I have decided to add this one to my nightstand along with my bible and Experiencing God.
