Patience. Ugh.
Can you tell I think patience with others is hard?
Why do you suppose that’s the case? Well, I guess it’s because people don’t do things the way I want, when I want, and unfortunately, truth be told…people who don’t do things our way, can annoy us. I know you are tracking with me!
One of the charateristics of the Father is PATIENCE.
One of the attributes of His Agape Love is PATIENCE.
One fo the fruits of the Spirit is PATIENCE.
We are afraid to pray for patience because then something will go wrong, someone will cross me, my impatient bell will go off….you know.
But, don’t be afraid. God wants to teach us to walk in patience because it’s part of love. How? Here is a verse to practice today, in each relationship. Giving from your heart, give out of your need, give out of your supply, just give of yourself.
Today’s Truth Luke 6:38
Give and it will be given to you. A good mesure, pressed down, shaken together and running voer, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Are you treating others poorly? It will be doubled to you!
Are you judging others impatiently? It will come back to you!
Are you being critical? Guess what…back at you.
Are you being loving?…Joy upon Joy, love will find it’s way back to you multiplied.
You don’t give to get, you give because Jesus said it should be a way of life.
Give patience. Give kindness. Say Hello. Smile more often. Listen. Stop your mouth from ugly things. Give. Give. Give.
