I thought the following would be a good way to end our week with the subject of our two natures. The flesh and the spirit are fighting one with another. We get to choose in the battle whether we will live up in the power of Christ and His Spirit in us or live down in the flesh and it’s ugliness.
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people. He said, ‘My son, the battle is between two ‘wolves’ inside us all.
One is Evil.. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.’
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: ‘Which wolf wins?’
The old Cherokee simply replied, ‘The one you feed.’

I have had a week and been missing the truths of the blogs, yesterday and today convicted me. I need to go on a diet of gossip and slander, I need to lift up and encourage and stop the murmuring and just pray when there is injustice or lack of communication at work just pray. I have seen God work through answered prayer but I need to be more accountable to my own sin.
Thanks Debbie….

Awesome! I hate that when I am busy feeding both wolves 🙂
God has something way better for us than that!
